What an exciting morning I had today. Sean came over and we filmed for the first two programmes for the new TV gardening programme called The Horticultural Channel.Tv. It was very exciting. Firstly we started in the greenhouse at home because it was raining. I think we were hoping that the rain would stop by the time we needed to go to the allotment, but no… as we got there it decided to rain even harder. Needless to say we didn’t spend too much time down there. My hands got very cold and I wish I’d taken a flask of tea with me. I’ll know next time. It was great fun even in the rain, and I can’t wait to see the finished article. I won’t tell you what we planted as I want it to be a surprise. The first programme airs on Sunday 6th March at 9am.

I’m starting to get excited now. Just need to wait until 6th March when it airs.
Fantastic– Looking forward to seeing the program.. Congrats!!
So am I.
That’s great news Claire can’t wait to watch it,just hope my tv will pick up the new channel.
Hi Rachel, Let’s hope so. I’ll be a bit weird to see myself on a large screen. I might have to hide behind a cushion.
I hope you post what you planted after the show! I’m in the U.S. and am pretty sure I won’t be getting to see that show.
Yes I will. But for the time being I want it to be a surprise. I’ll blog every time I plant something anyway. I’m going into the greenhouse after I’ve done emails to do a few bits. We’ve got drizzle today and it’s chilly, so I’ll have to wrap up warm.
Love your blog site, very useful for your quick updates on what your sowing or planting. Will you be continuing to produce your mini video’s for claire’s allotment this year? I discovered them about a week ago and have watched all of them and have found them so inspiring, i have added packets to my seed box for this year in the last few days (mangetout, peas, cauliflower and broccoli) purely on the basis that you made them look so interesting.
Hi there,
This year’s season starts now, so they’ll be a huge amount of blogging coming up in the coming months. I’ve got more films to make this year, but will only cover things I’ve not done before and anything else that pops into my head that I think people will find useful. I’m so glad you find the videos useful. You’ll love fresh peas they’re soon sweet. Hope you have a wonderful year and let me know how you get on.
